Join the SUN-DT and DIGISOLAR projects for an insightful webinar exploring digitalisation in solar thermal plants. As the renewable energy sector evolves, digital technologies are revolutionising the way solar thermal systems are designed, monitored, and optimised.

In this webinar, experts will present the projects’ objectives and innovative digital tools to be integrated into solar thermal plants and CSP towers.

SUN-DT will advance and integrate four interoperable innovative digital tools — HELIOSTATACC (automatic heliostat calibration and characterisation), SUN-DTWIN (automated decision-making of the solar field and receiver), D-OPT (energy management and dispatch optimisation), and PREDOM (predictive operation and maintenance) — into a unified SUN-DT Platform, which will be tested and validated at two experimental facilities and two commercial plants, representing different CSP tower configurations.

DIGISOLAR aims to develop the DS Suite, a digital platform that uses digital twin technology, AI-based fault detection, demand forecasting, and Model Predictive Control to optimize hybrid solar thermal systems throughout their entire lifecycle.
