DIGISOLAR is set to redefine large-scale solar thermal systems by seamlessly integrating them with other renewable energy technologies. The result? Hybrid-ST solutions that accelerate decarbonization, electrification, and energy flexibility across Europe.
At the heart of the project lies the DIGISOLAR Suite (DS Suite), a unified digital platform designed to optimize every stage of a hybrid solar thermal system’s lifecycle, from design and operation to long-term performance and fault detection.
On 10–11 November 2025, project partners gathered in Bad Rappenau (Germany) to plan the next phase of activities and strengthen collaboration. During the meeting, participants also visited one of the project’s demo sites: a district heating plant that combines solar thermal energy, biomass boilers, biogas CHP, and PV, operating entirely on renewable sources to meet its full energy demand.
